Biografia
Jennifer Lynn Connelly debiutowała w filmie mając zaledwie czternaście lat. Zagrała wówczas rolę w epickim obrazie Sergio Leone "Dawno temu w Ameryce". Od tamtego czasu, wykonując szeroką gamę różnorodnych ról, miała możliwość zaprezentowania w pełni swoich zdolności dramatycznych. W 2000 roku widzowie mogli podziwiać jej kreacje w trzech przejmujących, skłaniających do refleksji dramatach. Jednym z nich był kontrowersyjny obraz Darrena Aronofsky’ego "Requiem dla snu", w którym aktorka zagrała rolę młodej narkomanki. Kreacja ta przyniosła jej nominację do nagrody Independent Spirit Award. Kolejnym przedsięwzięciem Connelly była rola kochanki Jacksona Pollocka w prabiograficznym filmie w reżyserii Eda Harrisa - "Pollock". Trzeci ze wspomnianych obrazów zeszłego roku to "Przebudzenie miłości" Keitha Gordona z udziałem Billy’ego Crudupa.
