Member of the PCI since 1921, he was part of Imola's Communist Youth. Arrested, he was temporarily released on May 2, 1927 from prison for lack of evidence, after being subjected to an act of submission. During the Resistance, he served in the 36th Bianconcini Garibaldi brigade and in the SAP Imola brigade.
After the war, he was recognized as a partisan for his service from October 1, 1943 to the Liberation. Date of death unknown.
